As cStor’s Founder, Bill Nowlin has played a pivotal role in establishing cStor as a leader in infrastructure services that streamline operations, increase IT efficiencies and accommodate growth in an ever-changing technological landscape. Bill founded cStor in 2002 upon realizing there was a need for expertise in architecting and implementing customized data protection solutions. Prior to launching cStor, Bill was a systems engineer known for his ability to solve business and technical problems with innovative solutions. He spent the early part of his career gaining data center experience with companies including NetApp, where he was a key resource for backup and restore solutions, CADAM Inc. (a former IBM company) and American Express. Bill is an active member of the Arizona Technology Council.

Larry Gentry is responsible for ensuring cStor provides its customers with innovative data center solutions for the healthcare, manufacturing, government, education, retail, insurance and utility industries. His business acumen and management expertise stem from years of senior level leadership and high-tech management experience with companies such as Kroger, Kohl’s department stores and Shopko. Larry attended Lewis and Clark College along with Mt. Hood Community College prior to beginning his management career and holds multiple industry certifications. Larry has been a member of the board of directors for the Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association since 2009, where he currently serves as chairman of the board of directors.
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
As the lead for cStor technology and engineering, Pete researches new and emerging technology to ensure that his team is at the forefront of technology trends and best practices so that they can deliver the best possible technological solutions to cStor customers. He brings an extensive background in information technology, customer service, and professional services and is known for delivering second-to-none customer experiences—a philosophy that is directly attributable to cStor’s long-standing success and reputation. Prior to joining cStor, Pete held key positions with well-respected companies such as NetApp and IBM and is known for his deep expertise in data center technologies. He earned a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and is an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As CFO, Jim Kebert is a key contributor in guiding cStor’s expansion and realization of the company’s long-term vision. Kebert joined cStor in March 2019, bringing more than 25 years of enterprise-level business, IT and financial management expertise to the company. Prior to cStor, Kebert worked as vice president of the NetApp and Oracle solutions business units at Tech Data following its acquisition of Avnet’s Technology Solutions division. Prior to Tech Data, he was vice president of the NetApp business units within Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas. Kebert joined Avnet in 2009 as the vice president of financial solutions. Prior to Avnet, Kebert served in several executive capacities at Insight Enterprises, Inc. and at one of its subsidiaries, Direct Alliance Corporation. Kebert is a Certified Public Accountant and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
